Overstory was inspired by the smell of the earth, golden hour, and feeling at home in nature. We set out to capture that feeling of “home” - whatever that looks like for you. If home is in the mountains surrounded by pine trees, or baking bread in the kitchen with your mom, or wrapped in the arms of your lover, we’ve created a fragrance that brings that back to you.
ABOUT US
Our products are intentionally crafted using authentic fragrances and premium ingredients. Our candles are made from coconut soy wax and lead-free cotton wicks. All of our fragrances are phthalate-free, carcinogen-free, and will never contain any ingredients on the Prop 65 list. All of our products are made by hand in small batches, to ensure quality and to eliminate unnecessary waste.

I’m Nicole- the hands, brain, and heart behind Overstory.
As someone with everchanging and numerous hobbies, I’m lucky to have honed in on candle making and fragrance blending as something that inspires me to create every day. I set out to create Overstory as a way to bring parts of nature into our homes and a way to give back to causes that mean so much to me.
I spent countless months researching, sourcing, and testing, to find the most sustainable and cleanest ingredients for our home fragrances. I sincerely hope our products bring light and comfort into your home.
