What happens if my package is missing/stolen/damaged?
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if your package is missing or damaged. We will be happy to investigate further and provide a replacement item if needed.
*NOTE: during summer months or shipping to hot climates, candles may become a little melted due to the nature of our wax. This will harden back up once you bring it inside and let it cool.
Where do you ship?
As of right now, we are shipping only to the United States. We hope to expand our scents to other countries in the near future!
What are your candle ingredients?
Our candles are made from a coconut and soy wax blend with lead-free cotton wicks. Our fragrances are made from a blend of essential oils + man-made materials.
Buying candles online is hard- how do I find what I like?
We totally get it- which is why we're creating these two things to make it a little easier on you:
1- You can take our scent quiz to determine which scent calls to you most.
2- We will be launching a Discovery Set soon where you can try several scents in 1oz tins to figure out what you like.
Are your products pet safe?
While it's directed to keep a burning candle away from pets and children, we go through a thorough process of selecting the highest quality ingredients we can to ensure a healthy household.
Smaller animals (such as birds, hamsters, ferrets, etc.) and pets who have pre-existing medical conditions may be more sensitive to certain fragrances. We list any essential oils used in our fragrance blends on each product page. If you have any concerns, please reach out to your veterinarian before burning :)
Candle Care + Safety
How do I get the most out of my candle?
There are a few things to keep your candle in great condition and burning safely.
1. Trim your wick to 1/4" every time you light your candle. This will be done for you for your first burn.
2. Ensure you burn your candle long enough that the melted wax reaches the edges of your jar.
3. Don't burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
4. Keep your candle away from drafts.
5. Burn candles on a heat proof surface and away from any flammable objects.
6. If your wick is leaning closer to one side, blow the candle out and while the wax is still liquidy, use an object (like a toothpick or pencil) to very gently push it towards the center of the jar.
What is candle tunneling and how do I prevent it?
Tunneling is when a candle is lit for a very short duration of time, leaving excess wax around the rim of the candle. Continuously burning a candle this way causes only the center of the candle to be burned, creating a "tunnel" of wax. This can cause waste of wax, wick drowning, and a ruined candle.
We use a majority coconut wax blend to help prevent this tunneling, but it's necessary to ensure you are burning your candle at least until it reaches the edge of your container to prevent this problem.
Why do I need to stop burning my candle 1/2" from the bottom?
We know it feels like you're wasting your precious candle, but trust us- you aren't! We tell customers to stop burning their candle when there is about 1/2" of wax left in the jar to ensure the best safety practices and to prevent the glass jar from breaking.
